I became a mom (the first time) more than 22 years ago. Someone recently asked me: What does it mean to become a mom? I felt the need to reflect. What mom am I? Am I still becoming a mom? How? I felt the need for a CONTEXT, and I had to answer what it meant to me to become a mom for each of the four times I became a mom since a new mom VERSION was born each time. That is a reminder that we, human beings, are always in the process of becoming. Being a mom was not the end was just the beginning of a life of transformation. What if that also applies to what we call today OUR IDENTITIES? What if our identities are not an end but just a beginning? Who am I, and who am I becoming?Reflectively yours,
