The Blog

"Redeeming this journey is a reminder of how grateful I am for the gift of having special people in my life so we can learn from each other and grow together."
—Cintia H. Orsi

The gift of being present
Present = Presente = Gift The language, the meaning, is a reminder that our presence in the present moment is a gift to ourselves and others. No matter language, no matter culture, no matter ethnicity, no matter social class. We all need relationships. Enjoying the present moment is the best Gift we have today and perhaps the most accessible one that we can have at any time of life.

Books, Stories and Life Journey
What perhaps started with "learn a language" goal ended up being the beginning of embracing different cultures, building relationships with different people, knowing other ways of living, and doing things. All that also contributed to my character. I am also grateful for the opportunities to practice and live a joyful life in stillness and adversity.

Atomic Bomb and my Journey
Yesterday was the 75th anniversary of the Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima. It is important to me as third-generation survivor. Bomb, poverty, immigration to Brazil, new beginnings, new language, new culture, strive for education.

What is my role in racial brokenness?
It is an incredible moment of awakening and reconciliation. I am hopeful that we all can engage in a bold, loving way. I peacefully seek justice, higher than ourselves, beyond cultures and nations' interests and history. Racism is present everywhere and in everyone, even if governments or individuals don't recognize it.

Keep Thriving at Home
Not again!!? I know, I know. It is kind of part 2 of Thriving at Home posting AND MUCH MORE! In this blog posting, I highlight key findings in research on crisis and disaster impacts on human well-being for awareness and discernment when making choices in returning to social interactions.
"To look inside me, what moved me and how I made it all move inside me, it was a difficult task to do on my own. It was a difficult weight to carry on by myself. Through the coaching process with Cintia, who with all her technique, empathy, and professionalism, guided me and made me reflect on these issues. I allowed myself to self-development."
